| ampersand network launch party at loop
| What an awesome night we had on March 15 to mark the launch of the Ampersand Network website!
The formal part of the evening included a multimedia presentation and website demonstration, as well as speeches by Bill Armstrong AO and Melbourne barrister Susan Brennan.
Bill Armstrong, who is recently retired CEO of Australian Volunteers International, was announced as Patron of the Ampersand Network. Moira Kelly AO, who was overseas evacuating sick children at the time of the Launch, had also accepted our invitation to be Patron.
A good number of our 300 guests kicked on after the formalities, where the drinks and music kept coming late into the night thanks to the bar staff at Loop, our friends at Box Stallion Winery and DJ Chris Gill of Northside Records.
Our thanks to everyone for their kind support! Be sure to find your kodak moment among the party pictures online.

| We are particularly indebted to a number of businesses who donated prizes for the night's raffle.
To Strike on Chapel, Otis Hairdressing in Fitzroy, Bear Brass in Southgate, St Jerome's and HMV Australia, we thank-you very much for your generosity.
