The Ampersand Network is endorsed by Volunteering Australia, the national peak body working to advance volunteering in the Australian community.

Volunteering Australia brings to Ampersand its knowledge of volunteering, its networks and its community and corporate relationships.



Go Volunteer


GoVolunteer was an initiative of Volunteering Australia and the first national volunteer recruitment website. It is a not-for-profit site that provides free Internet advertising for not-for-profit community organisations looking for volunteers.

GoVolunteer brings to Ampersand a database of over 5,000 volunteer opportunities in the local community.



Smart Works


Smart Works is a leading web development company based in South Melbourne. It was established in early 1992 for the twin purposes of carrying out high quality graphic design using emerging technologies and to provide expert advice around the use of those technologies.

Smart Works provides probono design, technical and hosting services for the Ampersand website, as well as ongoing technical support.



Komodo CMS®


Komodo CMS® is a revolutionary web content management system that is designed to transform an organisation's relationship with the internet. Komodo CMS is about giving control back to organisations and empowering staff and other authorised content contributors to make edits directly on their websites.

Komodo CMS has provided the Ampersand Network use of its innovative software at no cost.



Baker & McKenzie


Baker & McKenzie has been part of the Australian landscape since 1964, having established itself as one of Australia's major law firms.

The Ampersand Network has been a benefactor of the Baker & McKenzie Community Services Program, which provides probono legal assistance to not-for-profit organisations. The firm was recently recognised at the 2004 Australian Law Awards as Best Community Service Firm.



Conservation Connect


An initiative of Conservation Volunteers Australia, Conservation Connect is an innovative new service that allows volunteers to search and register for environmental projects online.

The Ampersand Network provides direct access to Conservation Connect's database of 2000 volunteer opportunities across Australia, as well as its online registration tools.



goodcompany


goodcompany exists to help put young professionals in contact with community organisations seeking assistance with specific needs and short-term projects.

goodcompany has been extremely supportive of the Ampersand vision and has provided ongoing support in a mentoring-type capacity.
